Why to visit Ever Living Museum
The Ever Living Museum, which opened in 2015, is a living testament to one's passion for nature, culture, tradition, and history. Kyntiewbor War, a former Meghalaya government engineer, owns and operates the museum. It consists of three parts: a main museum, a stone museum, and a park. The Ever Living Museum is an ethnographic museum that exhibits items from the Khasi, Jaintia, and Garo tribes. It is set in a lovely orchid garden. The main museum is built of concrete and exhibits both ancient and modern weaponry used by Meghalaya's tribes. There's also the exciting prospect of discovering musical instruments such as drums, gongs, pipes, bamboo and iron mouth organs, and concertina.
