Why to visit Ward's Lake

Ward's Lake, a man-made lake encircled by a lush green park, is a prominent tourist attraction around which the city is built. The mesmerising lake, also known as Pollock's Lake, is a popular picnic site among locals and visitors who come to simply walk around the horseshoe-shaped lake or relax and observe the gorgeous flowerbeds that cast a rainbow of colours. A modest bridge has been built in the middle of Ward's Lake to allow tourists to get a panoramic view of the entire lake or to feed the tiny fish floating around in the water (puffed rice is available at the entrance of the lake for feeding the fishes)

Special Tip

Do not miss carrying your camera. The lake has some of the best backdrops for the shutterbugs.
