The History!
Jodhpur was founded in 1459, by Rao Jodha and the kingdom of Marwar came into existence. Due to the perfect location and geographical significance, Jodhpur became the capital of the kingdom. After the death of Rao Chandrasen Rathore, Jodhpur was possessed by Mughal King Akbar but after 30 years of long battle, Maharaja Ajit Singh restored the throne. During the British Era, Jodhpur had the largest land area and was successful in establishing a proper trade across the country. After the Indian Independence, Jodhpur became free from rulers and was included as the 2nd largest city of Rajasthan in 1956.

4. Umaid Bhawan Palace:
Umaid Bhawan Palace is one of the very popular places of Jodhpur which is now a museum, a 5-star hotel, and also the residence of the royals. Due to its location on the highest hill of Jodhpur, Chittar Hill, it is called "The Chittar Palace".
5. Balsamand Lake:

6. Khejarla Fort:

10. Rai Ka Baag Palace:
