Why to visit Chamunda Mata Temple
Chamunda Mata Temple, located at the end of Mehrangarh Fort, is one of Jodhpur's oldest and most revered temples. The Goddess is regarded as the 'Isht Devi,' or foremost goddess of the royal family, and is considered the main deity of the inhabitants of Jodhpur. This holy temple attracts a large number of devotees and worshippers, particularly during the festivals of Dussehra and Navratri, and is regarded as a pilgrimage site by many Hindus.
