Why to visit Butterfly Museum
Butterfly Museum, also known as the Entomological Museum, is one of Shillong's most famous tourist attractions. The museum, which is located near Christian Academy School on the Riatsamthiah Jaiaw, has a large collection of colourful butterflies, moths, beetles, and other insects. Butterfly breeding is also done at the museum for profit. Wankhar, Riatsamthiah owns and operates the Butterfly Museum, as well as organising regular conservation initiatives for moths and butterflies.
