Why to visit Nuranang Falls

This falls  is a stunning white sheet of water that cascades from a height of roughly 100 metres. Nuranang Falls is part of the Nuranang River, which begins near Sela Pass, and is virtually unknown to the main tourist trail, making it a unique and relaxing destination. What is the best time to visit the waterfall ?

Because Arunachal Pradesh is cold virtually all year the best time to come is between February and November. During this time the hills are all lush green the temperatures are nice but cold and the region bustles with activity and beauty. It's possible that you'll need to bring some woollens especially at night when it gets chilly.

Where can we have a nice stay??

Either of Tawang or Bomdila will be a suitable place for accommodation. Being tourist centers they have many options for all budget sizes.

How to reach the waterfall ??

ASPRTC buses and a few private buses connect Tawang to all of the North-major East's cities. The best option is still to hire a cab and stop at Nuranang Falls before continuing on to Bomdila.

Special Tip

Visitors to Arunachal Pradesh must obtain a permit from the state administration. The permit can be obtained from the Arunachal Pradesh Government's Deputy Residence Commissioner, Parvati Nagar, Tezpur.
