Why to visit Madhuri Lake

Arunachal Pradesh is home to several lovely lakes, but none are as gorgeous or enthralling as the Madhuri Lake, also known as Sangetsar Lake, which is located in the Himalayas. The lake became famous after appearing in the Bollywood film Koyla, and it is now known as Madhuri Lake, after the lead heroine in the film.

The Madhuri Lake, located 30 kilometres north-east of Tawang at an elevation of 12,000 feet above sea level, is a sight to behold, snuggled between massive mountains in the heart of the Himalayas with many tall tree trunks towering in its belly as if guarding the lake. Buddhists from India and neighbouring Tibet come here every year to pray, and it holds a particular place in their hearts. Madhuri Lake is a natural wonder that astonishes, dazzles, and rejuvenates your soul.
