Why to visit Rajabai clock tower

Rajabai Clock Tower is situated in South Mumbai, it can be found inside the boundaries of the University of Mumbai's Fort campus. The tower is 85 metres (280 feet) high.

The Venetian and Gothic architectural styles were combined in the construction of the tower. It is constructed out of Kurla stone, which is a locally accessible buff colour. One of the city's outstanding stained glass windows is in the tower.

Out of a total of sixteen melodies, which changed four times a day, the clock tower during the British Raj played "Rule Britannia," "God Save the King," "Home! Sweet Home!" and "A Handel Symphony." At the moment, it only chimes once every fifteen minutes.

Due to the suicide attempts that occurred here, the tower can unfortunately not be seen from the inside, but its true majesty can still be appreciated from the outside. If you are on a tour of all the remnants of British India, be sure to stop by this location.
