Why to visit Nehru Planetarium

Tickets and Timings at Nehru Planetarium :

It opens from 11 am to 5 pm, Bookings for tickets are possible up to one week in advance. At least 15 minutes before the start of the show, you must enter the planetarium.

All throughout the year, the times are constant. Except for Mondays, the planetarium is open every day of the week. On some Maharashtrian holidays, it is also closed.

A ticket to the Nehru Planetarium in Mumbai costs Rs. 100 per person for adults and kids above the age of 5. Only when a letter from a qualified authority is presented can schools receive a concession. The planetarium can accommodate 500 people.

Special Tip

When there are no crowds, the best time to visit Nehru Planetarium in Mumbai is during the rains. The hours are extended from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on the first Sunday of each month. The Nehru Planetarium is closed on Mondays and during the following festivals.
