The longest and most popular beach in Mumbai is Juhu Beach, which is frequented by both locals and visitors. It is well-known for its wide selection of mouthwatering street cuisine with a distinct Mumbai flavour, which is often sweet and sour.

If you're lucky, you might get a glimpse of some famous people jogging on Juhu Beach in the morning. A leisurely stroll down the beach is another option for finding endless tranquilly.

  • Women use mehendi to decorate their palms: You can adorn your hands with lovely patterns and sophisticated motifs using mehendi. Choose from a variety of styles.
  • Try some entertaining water sports: Jet ski rides, parasailing, bumper boat rides, banana boat rides, and fly fishing rides are all great ways to explore your adventurous side. A 3-5 ride package costs 600 INR or 1,000 INR, depending on your preference.
  • Eat until you're satisfied: Enjoy delicious pani puris, bhel puris, a selection of chaats, pav bhaji, or chana jor garam at incredibly affordable pricing. Popcorn, vada pavs, malai gola, and other foods are also available.

From October to February is the best time to visit Juhu Beach. Avoid going while Mumbai is heavily monsooning because the risk would increase due to the high seas. Avoid the midday if you intend to visit in the summer because the beach turns hot and muggy. As a result, you should go in the evening to enjoy the cold, revitalising sea breeze.

How to reach Juhu Beach?

From the Mumbai airport, take the train to Santacruz to get to Juhu Beach. You then stroll across to Santacruz Station West to catch the line 231 bus to the beach. As an alternative, you can arrange a taxi to take you from the airport to Juhu Beach.

Keep your phones away from the salted water, as abrupt waves might harm them.
