Why to visit Jahaz Mahal
This two-story architectural wonder, nestled between two man-made lakes, was given that name because it resembled a ship on the water. It was constructed by Sultan Ghiyas-ud-din-Khalji.

- The annual Phool Walon Ki Sair or Sair-i-Gulfaroshan festival, held in October, is held at Jahaz Mahal. The Jahaz Mahal, where complex cultural programmes are organized, hosts the three-day festival.
- According to legend, the palace was built to accommodate pilgrims travelling to Delhi.
