Thangal Para is a tourist paradise in Vagamon. For Islamic worshippers, the large spherical rock and the grave of a Sufi saint Sheikh Faraduddin have spiritual importance. Sheikh Faraduddin, an Afghan Sufi saint, is said to have taken his last breath here. The saint used to grind his Paan near the dargah on a nearby rock. Thousands of followers flock to this location each year to get the heavenly blessings of this divine Sufi saint.

This place offers stunning views of scenic hills, luscious grasslands, beautiful meadows, and alluring woodlands, in addition to the tranquil drips of spirituality. The breathtaking views of Kurisindi Peak and Murugan Mala will leave you speechless.

Near Thangal Para, there is an ancient cave that offers a wonderful trekking journey. Thangal Para is surrounded by tranquilly, making it a great retreat for nature enthusiasts and those seeking peace.
