Why to visit Pattumala Church
Pattumala Church, dedicated to Our Lady of Good Health, is a Roman Catholic Latin Rite pilgrim site in Kerala. The Congregation of the Missionary Brothers of Saint Francis of Assisi looks after it (CMSF). This church was designed by Thiruvananthapuram architect J.P Bright. The tea plantations surround the chapel, which is made completely of granite. Pattumala translates to "Silk-Draped Hill." Peermade is 8 kilometres (5.0 miles) away, and Thekkady is 24 kilometres (15 miles).
The terrain surrounding Pattumala is breathtakingly beautiful, and it is a must-see place for everyone visiting Kerala's Idukki district. It's a lovely spot with endless stretches of luscious green tea plantations. The spiritual ambiance, cool climate, panoramic view of nature, surrounding tranquilly, and unpolluted air all contribute to a soul-stirring spiritual experience.
