Why to visit Tandem Paragliding in Vagamon
The thrill and excitement of paragliding in Vagamon has made it an attractive adventure activity. Vagamon is a small, distinctive plantation town located along the Kottayam-Idukki border, tucked among the Kolahalamedu hills. The large green meadow and the rolling delicious hills of Vagamon are what make this town ideal for paragliding.
Vagamon mostly offers tandem paragliding, in which a glider pilot joins you for the takeoff, flight, and landing. The event lasts 30 minutes in total, but the memories will last a lifetime. You glide off a long ridge for a nice landing near the finish of your paragliding excursion. The glider pilot receives the call when you reach about 6,000 feet above sea level, and the experience lasts for 10 kilometres.
You can either take a rail to Kottayam or an aeroplane to Cochin International Airport, then drive for about 2 hours or 3 hours to reach Vagamon.
