Why to visit Garden by the Bay
Gardens by the Bay is the future's botanic gardens, home to next-generation Supertrees groves, high-tech space domes, and bizarre sculptures. Gardens by the Bay is known for its awe-inspiring contemporary architecture and the hypnotic Garden Rhapsody light and sound performance, which features nearly 400,000 plants. The Flower Dome, a massive seashell-shaped greenhouse at Gardens by the Bay that recreates frigid mountain temperatures, is the world's largest glass greenhouse.
The mega park conservatories, which span 250 acres of reclaimed land along the shoreline, are huge and colourful. The garden is separated into three sections: Bay East, Bay South, and Bay Central, which connects to the other two along the water's edge. Bay South is the largest of these sections. Another notable attraction is the Cloud Forest conservatory, which houses the world's tallest indoor waterfall. A stroll around Gardens by the Bay includes a trip to the climate-controlled conservatories and the Supertrees, both of which are worth seeing.
