The Parshuram temple is located 150 metres above sea level. A tiny tank known as Banganga is also found near the temple and is supposed to have been produced by Parshuram's arrow. The temple is constructed in a hybrid of Hindu, Muslim, and Portuguese architectural styles.
History of the temple :
Swami Paramhans Brahmendra constructed the temple (Siddis of Janjira and Peshwa of Pune). There are three temples and one water tank in total. There are also ancient relics and a water kund with steps made of old rocks. A deep mahal was also made to light diyas or lamps, similar to how a christmas tree is lit. Parshurama is the primary temple, with Renukadevi and Swami Brahmendra temples nearby. Along with this, the village inhabitants have a local god shrine with a little kund. The majority of traditional Konkan houses are constructed from large blocks of Laterite red dirt.
