    Happy Valley, commonly referred to as "mini-Tibet," is the residence of roughly 5000 Tibetan refugees. One of the well-known areas in Mussoorie is Happy Valley. Many Tibetans flocked to Mussoorie to seek shelter with the 14th Dalai Lama, and since that time, the valley has been their home. This was in 1995.
