Why to visit Chinese Temple

The Chinese Temple in Gaya is a magnificent Buddhist temple erected by Chinese-Buddhist monks near the Mahabodhi Temple. As a result, the temple's construction is a mix of magnificent Indian and Chinese elements, particularly the temple's facade, which resembles a Chinese monastery.

The Buddha statue within the Chinese Temple is thought to be over 200 years old and was created and imported from China. Three magnificent golden statues of Lord Buddha can be found at the temple. The temple's extensive and thorough travelogues by Chinese religious intellectuals who travelled to India in search of spirituality and wisdom are another attractions.

Bodh Gaya is a city with a vast network of interconnections. It is connected to Bihar by all main highways, trains, and aeroplanes. People travel to Bodh Gaya by bus, broad gauge railroad, and plane. Local transportation is available in Bodh Gaya.

Special Tip

The Chinese Temple is a sacred area with certain laws that must be followed. Sharp equipment, such as knives and cutters, is not permitted. The temple provides assistance to the poor, sick, and animals.
