Why to visit Zampa Gateway

During the mediaeval period, the Zampa Gateway, a famous landmark, was constructed. In colonial times, this was the entrance to the fortified township of Diu. This major town entryway in the massive city wall is painted bright crimson and contains carvings of lions, angels, and a monk. A chapel with a 1702 CE depiction of the Virgin Mary and Child is located just inside the entryway. There is also a manmade waterfall at this location that will undoubtedly enchant you.

Zampa Gateway is a one-kilometer walk from Diu City Centre.
