Why to visit Jalandhar Beach

Jalandhar Beach is one of Diu's less busy and undeveloped beaches. It's the perfect spot for individuals who want to spend their days lounging on the silky dunes as the intoxicating sea air sweeps over them. Swimming is secure at the beach because the water is clear and tranquil with no undertones. Water activities are also available at the beach. Tourists can also take a snooze in the cool shadows cast by the swaying palm trees that line the perimeter.

Despite being only a kilometre from the city, this beach in Diu is peaceful and lightly populated. The beach was named after the fabled Hindu demon Jalandhar, whose shrine lies near the beach on a hillside. There is also a shrine dedicated to the goddess Chandrikais here.
