Why to visit Nadia Caves
The caves contain a large network of tunnels with square sculpted steps that have yet to be explored. The caves also feature a geological aperture that allows light into the tunnels, making them photogenic. The caves' orange-brown walls, maze-like cave passageways, and distinctive shapes developed inside keep tourists interested in Naida Caves. The caves will take approximately 30 to 45 minutes to tour.
The Naida Caves are a series of interconnected caves beneath the ground level that astonish visitors. These caves are thought to have been formed when the Portuguese knocked down portions of a massive rock structure to build the Diu Fort. It is how the caves eventually took shape. During Operation Vijay, which was conducted against the Portuguese, these caves served as a place of refuge for the Indian Army.
The Naida Caves are not far from Diu Town, and there are autos that run to this location. The Diu Fort is about 3 kilometres away. After disembarking from the Delwada Railway station, visitors can simply reach the destination by road.
