Skandgiri is a stunning hill close to Bangalore that is well-known for trekking and sunrise views. Among the locals, it is also known as Kalavara Durga. It is 1450 metres above sea level and surrounded by the Nandi Hills.

Skandgiri is renowned for its exhilarating adventures and sunrise trekking options, which start after sundown and run until dawn, giving you the chance to enjoy an unforgettable experience.

  • Papagni Mutt: The Goddess Parvati and other local deities are honoured at this one-of-a-kind temple, which is dedicated to them. On Saturdays, a unique Pooja is performed at the temple to appease the Goddess Parvati.

  • From Bangalore: The base is 67.2 kilometres from Bangalore City Center and can be accessed by automobile or cab in around 1 hour and 22 minutes.
