Kanakapura railway station and Mysore airport are the closest to Chunchi Falls, respectively. It takes approximately 2.5 hours to get here from Bangalore. With the exception of the last 10 km, which are a little rough, the roads are well maintained. After leaving at the Kanakpura exit, you must pass through Yeleguri Village to get to the waterfall.

When is the best time to visit Chunchi Falls?

After the monsoon, when there will be enough water in the Arkavati River, would be the ideal time to visit this fall. The best time of year to visit Chunchi Falls is from August to February. Summertime is not the best time to visit this location because most of the water evaporates.

Due to the rough terrain, bring your most comfortable pair of shoes when visiting Chunchi Falls. Bring some food and bottled water with you; the river water is not fit for consumption. The crocodiles in the water should be avoided. Additionally, the area next to the waterfall is slick, so guests must exercise caution.
