Why to visit ISKCON Ujjain Temple
The ISKCON Ujjain temple, also known as the Radha Madhana Mohan Temple in Ujjain, is situated near the Nandkheda Bus Stand in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, India.
ISKCON is a well-known Vaishnav temple that celebrates and prays to Lord Krishna and Radharani. It has temples all over India and the world. One such temple can be seen in India's Temple City, Ujjain, making the scenery more spiritual and religious. This temple is lively, attractive to look at, and presents you an image of God in full brilliant glory embellished with ornaments, as is customary for ISKCON temples. Beautiful grounds surround it, adding to the beauty of the shrine.
It was constructed with white marble from Makrana. Makrana is a town in Rajasthan noted for its white marble, which was also used to construct the Taj Mahal. "The idols of Lord Krishna and Radha with Gopis, Balarama and Krishna, and Nitaai Gaur (incarnations of Krishna and Balarama) are housed in the temple's three sancta sanctorums." It is Ujjain's and the ISKCON organization's only totally solar-powered temple.
