Why to visit Lalpari Lake
The previous rulers of Rajkot state built Lake Lal Pari in 1895. The Victoria Golden Jubilee Water Works included it. One of the lesser tributaries of the Aji River, the Lal Pari River, supplies water to the lake. People can visit and surrealize their exploration of nature's splendour at the large Lal Pari Lake.
Randarda Lake is also accessible nearby. With a relatively tiny area of 0.9 square kilometres, it receives water from nearby hillocks and extra drainage from the Aji Dam, which was erected to the south. Due to the enormous number of birds that frequent the Lal Pari Lake each year, it is particularly well-liked among bird watchers and nature photographers.
Rosy Pastors, Purple Moorhens, Black-tailed Godwits, Spoonbills, Wigeons, Common Teal, and Pelicans are just a few of these birds. Additionally, the area is more lovely during sunrise and sunset. On the banks of the lake, there is also a zoo named Pradyuman Zoological Gardens. For the tigers and other carnivores, the zoo offers a relatively vast area with open fences.
