Why to visit Ishwariya Park

The Ishwariya Park is spread out across an area of around 80 acres and offers a tranquil setting with beautiful green grass. People of all ages can enjoy the walking paths that are available for morning and evening strolls. The park is embellished with statues of various creatures, including giraffes, snakes, owls, monkeys, and rabbits, among others.

There are many swings and rides for youngsters to enjoy in this entertaining area. The park is well-kept and dotted with enormous trees. Due to its size, the park is a popular location for events like birthday parties, friendship days, and school or college picnics.

The park offers visitors the chance to go boating or play golf while also boasting an alluring lake (Ishwariya lake). Even though the lake may become dry in the summer, it is always full of water during the monsoon and throughout the winter, making boating in the lake a lot of fun.

In the park, there is a melodic water fountain that everyone enjoys. Elegant water-sprinkling from the fountain soothes the crowd as sweet music plays in the background. The scene becomes remarkable once the fountain's fitted colourful lights are turned on.

FAQ on Ishwariya Park

When is Ishwarya Park at its most beautiful?

The park is best visited between the months of October and February, when the weather is mild and comfortable. Additionally, since the lake is emptied during the summer, boating is not permitted.

When does the park open and close?

The park is open every day from Monday through Saturday from 3 PM to 8:00 PM. The park is open on Sundays from 10:00 AM until 9:00 PM. On Tuesday, the park remains closed.

What is the entrance charge to the park?

Entry is nominally priced at Rs. 20 for adults and Rs. 10 for kids.

Special Tip

There are no restrictions, so you can bring your food within the park if you'd like. Additionally, there is a shrine onsite named Ishwariya Mahadev, which is devoted to Lord Shiva and where you are welcome to pay a visit if you choose. There is a tiny canteen where you can only purchase packaged food, but you may also eat at the nearby Ishwariya hotel, which is well-known for its khathiyawadi cuisine.
