Why to visit BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir
The temple was constructed with ancient Vedic Shilpa Shastra methods and is a part of the Vaishnava heritage. A white statue of Lord Swaminarayan who is dressed in luxurious silk sits in the centre of the temple as its main deity. The temple's unusual, foreign-imported building is well-known for its exotic design. There are three shrines in the Mandir.
A Panchdhatu murti, an idol of Harikrishna Maharaj fashioned of an alloy of five metals, may be found in the first shrine. Additionally, there are marble statues of Lord Krishna and Radha. The marble statues of Lord Swaminarayan, Mul Akshar Gunatitanand Swami, and Gopalananda Swami are located in the temple's main shrine, while the marble statue of Ghanshyam Maharaj is located in the third shrine
People of all faiths and religions are welcome in the temple, which is a socio-spiritual organisation. It is also well known throughout the world for its humanitarian efforts and manages a charitable trust. As a result of Bochasanwasi Akshar Purushottam Swaminarayan (BAPS) Sanstha's establishment of the temple in 1998, it is also referred to as BAPS Swaminarayan Mandir
