Why to visit Swarn Bhandar
Two rock-cut caves make up the Son Bhandar caves. In the third and fourth centuries AD, the cliff of the hill was dug out to create the caverns. According to inscriptions discovered inside one of the caverns, the Jain saint Muni Vairadevi built the caves.
One of the few cave temples in the nation with this remarkable attribute is Son Bhandar, which has polished cave chambers. The fact that it resembles a primitive Mauryan rock-cut refuge adds to the mystique surrounding the age of the caverns.

You will see a structure that resembles a doorway on one of the cave's walls, and right next to it is an unintelligible inscription. People claim that it is a sort of "hidden phrase" that, when deciphered, will open the door. Nobody has yet succeeded in deciphering the inscription.
