As you enter the fort, you are greeted by beautifully decorated rooms that reveal ancient tales. You can also decide to walk the entire way, which will allow you to take in the vistas to the fullest before arriving at the great fort.

History of the Jaitak fort :-

Everything began in 1810. Ranjor Singh Thapa, a leader of the Gurkhas, effectively routed the combined British and Sirmaur force by robbing the Nahan Fort. The Nahan Fort served as a monument to the conflict that had raged nearby when the war came to a conclusion.

And from its ruined remains, the Jaitak Fort emerged. The Fort continued to see the countless further wars and fatalities that occurred during the 19th century after that.
