Why to visit Churdhar Peak Trek

Churdhar is the highest peak outside of the Himalayan range, rising to a low elevation of slightly under 12,000 feet. A 56 square kilometre woodland reserve surrounds the top, making trekking a great experience.

The trek through the deep Deodar forest, terraced fields, and Gujjar pasturelands is moderate. As you put the forests behind, the final hour of the hike consists of a moraine walk. The views from the summit are spectacular.
