• Vaman Dwadashi - Around the conclusion of the monsoon, Nahan celebrates Vaaman Dwadshi, when fifty-two worship pictures of local gods are transported in procession to Jagannath Temple, where they are ceremoniously floated in a pool and then restored to their niches at midnight.
• Gogaji Peer - In Nahan, a fair honouring Gogaji (also known as Gugga) is held (is a folk deity of Rajasthan state in India). He is the region's most illustrious warrior-hero. He is revered by both Hindus and Muslims. He is also known as a saint and the "snake-god." Among Hindus, he is known as Goga, while among Muslims, he is known as Jahar Peer.

PLACES TO VISIT IN NAHAN
• Shivalik Fossil Park - The Shivalik Fossil Park, also known as Suketi Fossil Park, is located 22 kilometres south-west of Nahan on the banks of the Markand River. The park has a collection of prehistoric vertebrate fossils and skeletons excavated from the Upper and Middle Shivaliks, which pique the interest of history and culture buffs.
• Renuka Temple - The Renuka Temple, which is devoted to Renukaji and her son Lord Parshuram, in the same way as the Renuka Wildlife Sanctuary is. According to folklore, Parshuram wished to spend his time on earth at his mother's feet, and as a result, the mother-son duo met each year at the start of the Renuka Fair.
• Rani Tal - Rani Tal was originally a royal retreat for the royal families of Nahan and the Shivalik Hills. There is an idol of Lord Shiva and a small shrine dedicated to Goddess Lata Devi on one end of the Lake or Tal. • Triloknath Cave Temple - Trilok Nath Cave Temple, one of the most wonderfully crafted ancient temples to visit in Nahan, is located alongside the mandi-Pathankot route, 41 kilometres from Dharamshala.
