Why to visit Santa Cruz Basalica
The Santa Cruz Cathedral Basilica, one of India's eight basilicas, is located in Fort Kochi. This beautiful roman catholic church, located on K.B. Jacob Road in Fort Kochi, serves as the cathedral church of the Diocese of Kochi. The cathedral is the Portuguese's second structure.
Along with the stunning stained glass windows, there are frescoes on the columns and seven enormous canvas paintings. Beautifully painted depictions of Christ's Via Crucis can be found on the ceiling.
