Why to visit Jewish Synagogue

Cochin Jewish Synagogue, also known as Paradesi Synagogue or Mattancherry Synagogue, is the oldest operational synagogue in the Commonwealth of Nations. The synagogue, which is located in Kochi's Jew Town neighbourhood, was built in 1567 and is one of the Malabar Yehudan or Yehudan Mappila's seven synagogues. The synagogue was erected by Spanish-speaking Jews and shares the same walls as the Mattancherry Palace.
