Why to visit Accoland
Accoland is a massive water amusement park in Guwahati that is the first of its sort in the North East of India. Accoland, nestled among Assam's rolling green hills and lovely tea estates, is another another place for North East visitors to unwind and have fun. From the outside, the area is designed to look like a fairy tale red-stone castle, and it immediately puts you in the mood for some lively activities!
Accoland will get your pulse racing, whether it's a joyride on the enormous 'Skytrain,' a rocky sail on the Pirate Ship, spinning round and round in the Vortex Maze, standing in a virtual world of fantasy at Cine Magic, or participating in the Multi-Lane Racers. While the majority of the rides are free, you will have to pay for a few in exchange for 'additional pleasure.' The amusement park also offers a variety of activities for children under the age of eight. The Caterpillar, Rocking Rola, Baby Train, and Merry Go Round are smoother, slower-paced rides that are great for the younger members of your family.
The months of May and June are ideal for water sports in Accoland. The other months to visit are October through April, when the water activities are less appealing but the time spent outside is priceless.
Though there are several food vendors and a cafe inside Accoland, you may want to stop by restaurants along the journey from Guwahati to Accoland.
