Why to visit Sanwaria Ji Temple
In the North-Western Indian state of Rajasthan, Mandaphia is home to the Lord Krishna-dedicated Sanwariaji Temple. Mandaphia, which is located on the Chittorgarh-Udaipur Highway, is about 40 kilometres from the city of Chittorgarh. Due to its position, many devotees stop by the temple on their way between Chittorgarh and Udaipur. The magnificent temple complex is a stunning example of architecture and is decorated with vibrant carvings and murals that tourists find hypnotising. The deity, also known as Shri Sanwariaji Seth, is revered by traders and merchants who pray to him in order to prosper and be wealthy in their enterprises. In the area, it's common to hear tales of people finding riches out of thin air thanks to divine intervention. Thus, it comes in at number two on the Hindu community's ranking of the most significant temples to Lord Krishna in terms of religion.
The cluster of temples at Sanwariyaji is a stunning construction made of pink sandstone. The deity's idol is a statue fashioned of black stone that mimics Lord Krishna's dark skin tone. The Mandapiya Sanwariaji Temple, Bhadsoda Chouraha Sanwariaji Temple, and Bhadsoda Sanwariaji Temple are some more temples in the area of Chittorgarh in addition to this one.
A milkman named Bholaram Gurjar is said to have once dreamed that three sculptures were buried in Bhadsoda-Bagund. The villagers began searching for the sculptures at the location where Bholaram had dreamed about them when he revealed the information, and they discovered statues of Lord Krishna. One statue remained where it was discovered, while two of the statues were placed in various localities (Mandaphiya and Bhadsoda) (Bhadsoda-Bagund). Temples dedicated to Lord Krishna were subsequently constructed there. Worldwide devotees visit the temple to make prayers for their wishes to be fulfilled.
