Why to visit Ubbalamadugu Falls

This magnificent cascade amid woodland, located on the boundary of Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh, is one of the most popular sites for trekking near Chennai. This is a 10-kilometer length of trail that passes through lush trees and tiny streams. The trek is moderately strenuous. The trail begins at the Kambakam forest's base and is highlighted by streams, waterfalls, and rock cut trails. There may be some challenging and steep boulders along the trail, and you may have to hop through various rocks and boulders. At the Shiva temple, you can set up a mid-base camp. Beyond there, the journey becomes a little more difficult.

Special Tip

It's best to go in a group because it's potentially dangerous if you don't. Keep a watch on your wallet and other valuables, as well.
