Why to visit Ashtalaxmi Temple

The Ashtalakshmi Temple is located in Besant Nagar, just a few metres from the beautiful Besant beach on the Bay of Bengal's shore. The Goddess of Wealth and Knowledge, Ashtalakshmi, lives here and rewards everyone who comes to the temple to pray with a pure soul. The constant sound of the ocean waves reverberates throughout the temple complex, instantly instilling a sense of calm. The temple was renovated for about 7 million rupees, and over 1.6 million rupees was spent on conducting a spiritually important Hindu rite called Jeernotharana Ashtabandana Mahakumbhabhishekam, indicating the place's grandeur.

Special Tip

If you visit this place you must wear conservative clothes and avoid exposing outfits.
