Why to visit Guindy National Park
Guindy National Park is India's seventh smallest national park, with an area of 2.70 kilometres squared. It is also the only park located in the heart of a city. The park was established in 1978 to provide a safe haven for some of the world's rare and endangered wildlife species. The park successfully accommodates more than 350 types of plants, 150 species of birds, and 14 species of wild animals inside its well-defined bounds. More than 60 species of butterflies and spiders, as well as various amphibians and reptiles, can be found here. It's also a great place to get close to nature and realise how important it is in our life.
