Why to visit Muangboran

The largest open-air museum in the world, covering 300 acres. The museum, which contains many mini-museums and sculpture gardens, focuses on reconstructions of Thailand's most important historical locations.

The map of the Ancient City is a duplicate of Thailand's map, which is divided into four areas in the same fashion. The Northern Region, North-eastern Region, Central Region, and Southern Region are among the divisions. The reproductions of important places in Thailand include –from the several empires that once thrived here, such as Lanna, Sukhothai, Ayutthaya, and Rattanakosin.

Boran has about 115 buildings and monuments in the Ancient City of Muang. The Old Market Town and the Wihan at Wat Phrao are among the reproductions of ancient sites.

Special Tip

You can have a nice tram ride through the city museum which have some specific timings.
