Why to visit Salim Ali Lake

The picturesque Salim Ali Lake is located in the centre of Aurangabad, directly across from the Himayat Bagh near Delhi Gate. This lake, also known as the Salim Ali Sarovar, is a great bird-watching site, home to a diverse range of migrating birds. At the lake, there is also a well-stocked bird sanctuary that serves as a home to a variety of local and exotic bird species. Salim Ali Lake is a wonderful place to visit with friends and family. Photographers, nature enthusiasts, and bird watchers should go there. The lake bears the name of a well-known ornithologist. At the lake, there is a 60-foot watchtower that is a great place to take pictures and relax.

Special Tip

Best time to visit is during the dawn when you can hear the amazing bird chirping
