Why to visit Nanda Devi National Park

The Nanda Devi National Park,established in 1982,with its wide range of high altitude habitats,holds significant populations of flora and fauna including a number of threatened mammals,notably snow leopard and Himalayan musk deer,as well as a large population of bharal or blue sheep.It is part of UNESCO World Heritage List.

Special Tip

The reserve remains open from May to October.Only people above 14 are allowed to enter.
