Why to visit White House

One of the country's capital's oldest public structures, the White House doubles as a museum of American history. In 1791, George Washington chose the location for the White House and James Hoban's design from his submission. The old building has undergone numerous renovations and additions over the years. On 6 storeys, there are 132 rooms. The interior design features a variety of fine and decorative arts, including antique paintings, sculpture, and furniture.
