Why to visit St Mary's Church

The Reverend George Wheatley built the cathedral-style St. Mary's Church, which is almost 200 years old. It is renowned for its incredible architecture, and in 1960 Queen Elizabeth II paid a visit to the church to take in its splendour. Thus, for its illustrious past, it is known as the "Church of England" in the area.

It is renowned for its architecture, which includes a projecting portico and spire, louvred doors, and hooded ventilation in place of windows. Despite its age, the building is attractive and well-maintained, and many Anglo Indians and tourists visit it each year to take in its splendour.
