Why to visit Vedadri Narasimha Swamy Temple

Sir Krishna Deva Raya built this temple, which is located 70 kilometres from Tirupati. It is thought to be the spot where Lord Vishnu battled Rasksash Somakadu, prevailed, and took over the Vedas from him. The Vedadri Narasimha Swamy Temple is dedicated to Lord Narasimha and his five shrines; history has it that the Sage Rishyasrunga married God Narasimha Swamy and the Goddess Lakshmi here. Every year, on the eighth day after Vaisakha Suddha Ekadasi, a festival is held.
