The beautiful S.V. Sanctuary & National Park, named after Lord Venkateswara, the presiding deity of Tirumala, has a rich biodiversity. The habitat is home to rare and endangered animals and plants, some of which are endemic to the area. The entire core area of the Sanctuary has been designated as a National Park, which has improved the conservation status of the populations
