Why to visit Athirapally Falls
It is Kerala's largest waterfall, standing 1000 feet above sea level at a height of 25 metres (82 feet) with four waterfalls and a width of 100 metres (330 feet). It is a prominent tourist attraction in Kerala, located on the boundary of Ernakulum and Thrissur districts, and attracts a diverse spectrum of visitors each season. Several streams lead down to the 80-foot level of the waterfall.
It comes from the upper reaches of the Western Ghats, near the Sholayar region's entry.
