Why to visit Trekking in Anjaneri Hill

Anjaneri Hill, located 11 kilometres from Trimbakeshwar Temple and 26 kilometres from Nashik, is a spiritual site located between Nasik and Trimbakeshwar. Anjaneri is a well-known fort in the Nashik-Trimbakeshwar mountain range, as well as a renowned trekking destination in Nashik.

Anjaneri, at an elevation of 4264 feet, is the birthplace of God Hanuman. The fort is named after Anjani, the mother of God Hanuman. God Hanuman is reported to have spent his boyhood in these mountains. Anjaneri is significant for both religious and hikers since it is the birthplace of Lord Hanuman.

The Anjaneri Fort, which can be reached via Anjaneri village, is the main attraction of Anjaneri Hill. On the Nasik-Tryambakeshwar road, get off at Anjaneri Phata, which is 20 kilometres from Nasik. Anjaneri village is about a 10- to 15-minute walk from Anjaneri Phata. The plateau of Anjaneri can be reached by some steps located near the village gate. It takes roughly an hour and a half to go to the Anjaneri plateau from Anjaneri settlement. This road leads to a spectacular trekking excursion through Anjaneri Lake, caverns, and waterfalls, among other sights. From the plateau, it takes only 10 minutes to reach Anjani Mata's shrine.
