Why to visit Trimbakeshwar Temple
Trimbakeshwar is one of the most popular places of worship in Nashik. Trimbakeshwar is visited by people from all across India to exhibit their faith and devotion. Lord Shiva has twelve Jyotirlingas, and this is one of them. The temple is situated at the foot of the Bramhagiri Mountain and is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Nashik.
It is considered sacred since it is where the Holy Godavari River begins. It is also said to be Lord Ganesha's birthplace. Trimbakeshwar hosts the Simhasta Kumbh Mela every 12 years. Millions of pilgrims flock to the Kumbh Mela to wash away their sins by taking a dip in the Godavari. Trimbakeshwar also enthusiastically celebrates the annual celebration of Shivratri.
