The best time to visit Pin Valley is from mid-May to mid-September. April. . May. . November and early December are the best months to visit if you want to see the fauna. The months of July and August are ideal for wildlife.

Can i stay in the park ?

If you want to spend the night in the national park..the park authorities provide bunkers at Thango. Trekkers' cottages are provided outside of the park near Kungri village and Tabo. The best option though is to stay at Kaza.

How to reach Pin Valley National Park?

To travel the 272 kilometres between Chandigarh and Shimla and Kullu, one can either take the road or the air route. You must take a bus across Rohtang Pass and Kunzum Pass, which is additional 260 kilometres, to get from Kullu to Kaza through Manali. You will need to take a bus or jeep the 32 kilometres from Kaza to Mikkim. The remaining 10 kilometres can be travelled on foot to get to the park starting from Mikkim.
