Why to visit Kandariya Mahadev Temple
This temple is a UNESCO World Heritage monument dedicated to Lord Shiva. This temple is the largest of the temples in Khajuraho's western outskirts. The temple's 900 magnificently carved sculptures convey to tourists Madhya Pradesh's rich culture.

Architecture of Kandariya Mahadev Temple:
The rectangular entrance hall, Ardhamandapa, leads to the mandapa, a centre hall with pillars. The garbhagraha is a shadowy place accessible from the mandapa. The garbhagraha is above the main tower and spire.
